I am very excited about the prospect of having a new blog. It can really open up opportunities for my students, their parents, and my colleagues to share problems and solutions for those who have difficulties in reading. I also hope that others will share good books, book reviews, and lessons here. I intend to link this to my Edline page with help from our webmaster so that I can share this with our entire community. - I am a Reading Intervention teacher at Langston Magnet in Hot Springs. Reading and gospel singing are my hobbies. My favorite books of all time are the Harry Potter Books. I get so caught up in Rowling's stories that I can't put them down. I've read them many times. The Eragon series of books are my next favorites. I love teaching children to read. It's the best job that I've ever had! God blessed me with three beautiful girls, Jamie, Alye, and Alex, and I just celebrated 20 years of marriage with my wonderful husband, Ted, who is an art teacher. I also am a pug lover! I have two pugs at home, Abby and Otis. Their pictures will be in the slide show that is coming soon.

I haven't read those books. I did see something about the author the other day. Wasn't he homeschooled?

Not yet. I am trying to get it linked on my EDLINE page. Our tech man is trying to get the okay for it.

Great blog. Your tech guy can give an exception just for your site, not for all blogs. It took us a little while to figure this out. I bet you will get a lot of hits.
